Merafe Resources extends its retrenchment deadline for thousands of smelter employees
Merafe Resources has postponed the termination date for potential retrenchments of 3,000 smelter employees, as Eskom and the government back a new lower electricity tariff aimed at stabilising the ferrochrome industry.
